The tinkling of the bells was in perfect harmony with the swaying of the lush, vivid emerald- green grass. Everything seemed synchronized as if all one could feel was an orchestra of sounds of joy and beauty beyond any words to describe.  Forests of symmetrical trees climbing so high evoked feelings of majesty and awe. As one walked through the many, seemingly endless pathways, all one could see, feel, hear, smell and taste filled their spirit with immense love and appreciation.

The colors were mystical when looking in one direction and in the other so vibrant and diverse, unlike anything seen on Earth. Such gorgeous color – almost like velvet but at times liquid and full of light.  Light was coming from every direction and seemed to be absorbed by everything it touched. Every flower on Earth and ones never seen or encountered before were in full display at all times and the colors and display were magnificent.  It filled your soul with such pleasure, an awareness that love included beauty for it could caress the soul.

As you walked along the path you noticed that the flowers swayed in time with music.  Music unlike anything you had heard before. One could walk right over the flowers, and they were never damaged. It was like walking on love. If you wanted to pick a flower you could do so and immediately a new one would grow in its place.  Everything in this place seemed more real than Earth and one feels more alive than they have ever been.

Walking through this place of love, you may feel that you have existed forever. The leaves of trees made sounds of chimes as they brushed against one another with the pleasant breeze. If you picked a fruit from the many trees close to you, another would grow in its place. There is no death in this dimension of heaven.  It may be called other things by other people, but it is all the same. The air around one is infused with the most delectable of aromas that sing of peace, love and contentment.  If you saw something you wanted to taste, it would evaporate on your tongue and give you the most spectacularly delicious taste you could imagine, though you may not know what it is.  Beings in the heavenly dimension don’t need to eat or drink, but they can if they want to.

Your vision in the heavenly dimension is simply extraordinary and almost indescribable. Even if you had vision problems or were blind on Earth, you will see with telescopic vision, focusing on things miles and miles from where you are standing and all around you.  Vision is clear, precise, enhanced, with a range of colors you would never be able to imagine. The skies look like velvet and you may see some spiritual beings, perhaps angels who live in their own realm but can appear to you as human beings or shine so exquisitely with a mesmerizing, radiant light. You may also see orbs of light shining with a golden hue.

Everything is more here, including your thinking. In the heavenly dimension you will communicate with others by telepathy, there is no need to speak. If you have a question, it will be answered more rapidly than you could imagine; you will never be put on hold. It doesn’t matter what your Earth language is. Time in the heavenly dimension is not as it is on Earth.  It is non-linear.  Both time and space are altered. As compared with human minds, a minute can seem like a lifetime and a lifetime or multiple lifetimes can seem like just a moment in time.

The natural way of moving from place to place in heaven is flying. One only has to think of where they want to be and, in an instant, they can be there. However, if they choose to go slowly, they can do that too.  There is still free will in heaven. Your thoughts come to you very rapidly, like the speed of light. You don’t need to eat or drink in the heaven dimension because all energy comes from God in the form of light.

God has provided us on Earth with the incredible knowledge of the heavenly dimension through near death experiences which have been the study of scientists for several decades.  It is such a gift to be able to learn what others who have clinically died and came back to life have to report.  In almost all cases, it has totally changed their lives.  Much of it coincides with scripture and teachings from various religious orientations.

Often individuals transitioning from Earth to the heavenly dimension report vivid accounts of what they have seen and heard.  Individuals who died on the operating table, for example, often report traveling up to the ceiling where they can observe their own body being operated on and can later recall exactly what individual professionals were saying and doing from that perspective. They then travel through ceilings, and some have even seen items on the roofs of hospitals that are later verified to be there.  They usually encounter some sort of barrier before entering heaven and some, but not all, report going through a dark tunnel with the speed of light. Along the way they may see deceased relatives or spirits as if accompanying them on their journey.

There is generally a perception of an immense, brightly shining light that is beckoning them.  Most describe an enormous feeling of love, peace and tranquility unlike anything they have ever felt before. Very frequently they note waves of pure, unconditional love and enormous joy.  They may see a being shining with light brighter than the sun but easy to look at.  This being radiates such powerful love, acceptance and compassion beyond all imaginings.

Some near-death experiencers then encounter a life review. It is rather like a panorama of continuous life events of the individual, moving at exceptional speed but still allowing one to comprehend two things.  First, to see what they did in their life and second, to “feel” how the individual(s) they were interacting with felt about their actions.  Or in other words, how others felt about the way they were being treated.

It will be an enormous learning experience for anyone.  Since they are near-death experiencers they will reach a stage where they have to make a decision.  They may be told that they need to go back to Earth because it is not their time and there is still much for them to do. They are given a choice because there is still free will.  It is often agonizing to make such a choice because they don’t want to leave this heavenly place so full of love and joy. But thankfully, these people can help all to understand what happens when we actually die.  What we can look forward to.

Most near-death experiencers who have advanced to this stage report encountering so many people including deceased loved ones and others they knew throughout their own life experiences.  They will usually appear as they did as humans to them but can have different forms in heaven.  A new person in the heavenly realm needs to be able to recognize their loved ones. They will know they still have a body, but it is different.  One can see through the body and see objects that may be on the other side of it right through themselves.

When going to this heavenly dimension, the individual will retain their identity as on Earth.  This would include their unique personality, their sense of humor, their unique look and their emotions.  However, now they will be able to be themselves – at last. They will learn just who God intended for them to be.  We are all here for a specific purpose.  Love is always the major part of that purpose, no matter what our accomplishments may be.

Imagine you were continuing on your journey through the pathways in the heavenly dimension you have recently entered.  You will encounter a great city – but it is different from any city you have seen before. Imagine a city the size of the entire Earth, full of what we need to give us unimaginable joy. If you need a house to feel joy, you will have one.  Houses of many different colors may stand side by side. Continued learning is a major part of this heavenly dimension. There are libraries of knowledge and a library with the records of the life reviews of all who have come there.

Many who come to the heavenly dimension will be happy to stay in the entry realm to this new home. Think of heaven as a series of concentric half circles or sections of the Earth’s atmosphere.  The lowest level is the one you first enter, and it is glorious.  However, some will want to go higher, to get as close to where God is as possible. He /she is at the very top. In order to do that, one must learn more, sometimes coming to Earth or back to Earth to do so. There are ways to advance learning within the heavenly realm without coming back.  That is why there are so many places of learning there.  However, there are times when one must learn by experiencing things for themselves. In those cases, they may choose to come back to Earth for a lifetime.

Sitting on a beautiful bench were two “residents” of this dimension of heaven.  This was a place they often liked to be whenever they could be together.  From this vantage point they could look out over the universes while simultaneously enjoying the beauty of the park spread out before them.  This park was so full of flowers of every shape and size, grasses that swayed and waved in the golden glow of their home.  Sometimes the grass would tinkle like bells, sometimes it would hum and sometimes it even joined in with a chorus of music coming from all over this dimension. On this day they took the form of their Earth bodies as they were in the prime of their lives when they had previously lived on Earth. At other times they may be golden orbs.  They make the choice based on what appealed to them each day and suited their needs. They did this for a specific reason.  Both were making a decision today about returning to the Earth for another lifetime to greatly advance their understanding of Love.

The heavenly dimension is inhabited by souls. Souls can take human form when needed, most especially when greeting newcomers that they loved or were close to on Earth, so they can be easily recognized and thus reunited.  Depending on what they were accomplishing in the heaven dimension, they may be learning necessary truths in order to advance to be in closer connection with God.  This is a major quest of many in this realm, though not all.  There are myriad ways to learn here, actual academies where souls sometimes take the form of golden orbs and merge for a time into one as they learn important points to build their souls and collective consciousness. Then they go back to their individual selves again.

All knowledge is here and is available, but each soul must take the initiative to advance. It is a choice.  Some are ecstatically happy in the entry section to the heavenly dimension, after all it is more glorious than anything they have ever seen or felt before. If they decide to stay there, it is alright, but they are encouraged to keep learning new things. Unconditional love flows into each soul wherever they are in the heaven dimension. Within the realm of the immense city with its layers of beauty and learning, there are places where one can learn about music, art, see art galleries, museums, gorgeous fountains, rivers and lakes, waterfalls, musical events, even games and sports activities.

This is real, true life in the dimension of heaven. Souls may want to continue learning in a field or an interest they had while on Earth or explore something new. What is needed for learning will be available. No one is bored in this dimension. There are responsibilities and roles for each soul to have here.  There is endless creation and so there is constant research, discovery and building going on.  There are also infinite mysteries of both Earth and all of the universes that will be impossible to know and explore to completion. However, the biggest reward in this heavenly dimension is intimacy with God.  That is why some choose to develop their souls to get as close to the realm of God as possible.

The warmth, love beyond words that flows from the divine being toward souls entering this dimension is like a magnet that cannot be resisted. This divine being or God, is responsible for all creation. The most magnificent love, beauty, majestic creations beyond our capacity to imagine, pure joy, pure contentment and pleasure are all there.  No wonder souls seek to be as close to God as possible.

As our two souls sit on the bench, they see the beloved dogs they had while on Earth who are running over fields and coming to be with them.  Pets are there to love and cherish for eternity for all souls who want to be with them.  Many other animals are there as well and children who are there particularly love to be with them. Animals all live in harmony with one another; there is no need for anything but love. Souls who came to the heavenly dimension as children will continue to grow in this dimension, both physically in appearance and in learning. They have the capability of appearing to new loved ones coming into the heavenly dimension in the way they would be most recognized by the newcomers.

Love is the true meaning of heaven and God’s eternal focus.  Our two souls have made a decision to return to Earth to perfect their understanding of Love. They are both advancing beyond what they have learned as they advanced in their knowledge and understanding by learning in the heavenly dimension. But it is not enough. To truly learn they must experience what true love really is – and what it is not.  The 3 key points are ‘experience’; what true love feels like on Earth, and very importantly, what it is not and what that feels like.  This can only happen by returning to Earth and living lives there.

Both of these souls are already “teachers” in this heavenly dimension.  Their roles are to help others learn and understand all about love, especially unconditional love but also about other areas of interest for evolving souls around them. They love doing this and always want to be the best they can be. So, the decision was an easy one for them. They are very close to one another here in heaven and are quite alike, especially in how they think, their love of learning, their very strong motivation to help others.  They are about to embark on the most significant experience in their entire soul development. Both are aware that they are likely to have very difficult and even heart-wrenching experiences on Earth, but they also know that what they will learn will be exhilarating, powerful, incredibly fulfilling and so look forward to teaching this to others. They have been told that they will have no recollection of being in the heavenly dimension while on Earth and will be born at somewhat different times and may not even encounter one another in this endeavor.

On Earth, such individuals are sometimes referred to as “soulmates”, an apt description for these two.

This first memory remains embedded in Robbie’s five-year-old brain and will impact him for the rest of his life. The sheer beauty of the setting screams for recognition but is hijacked by the blatant terror of what happened to him.

Such beauty. Such wonder. Robbie sits by the bubbling stream which is just an alcove at the edge of the deeper river. He is surrounded by the laughter of his numerous brothers who are enjoying swimming and frolicking as if they have no cares in the world. Unlike the others, Robbie sits by the side of the stream, carefully studying a salamander and its navigation in this murky environment. Robbie loves the outdoors and appreciates the beauty of where he lives and poses questions to himself about the life of this little salamander.  He calls him Charlie and wants to protect him and make sure he gets to his home safely.  Robbie wants to understand the world and why things happen – just like a budding scientist. He loves the mountains, rivers, creeks, lakes and other waterways that make the state he lives in so incredibly beautiful.

This would have been like heaven except for the loud, disdaining voice that shouts at him from the edge of the river behind the rocks. It is like a dark shadow in human form with it’s own distinctive grimace and harshness in his voice. “Come here boy! What are you doing just sitting there? You should be swimming just like your brothers!”  Robbie hesitantly and very slowly goes toward this enormous monster saying, “but I don’t know how to swim”. “Get over here.  I will teach you how to swim”.

Robbie wants to cry or at least dig himself deeper in the mud but he doesn’t dare as he stands before this “teacher”. “You just walk into the water and start to move your hands and legs. It’s so simple any baby could do it”. “That’s it!.  Now go swim”. Robbie is afraid to move, saying only to himself, “what is the greater danger – what is right in front of me or the deep river behind me?” He didn’t have time to answer his own question. Quicker than his friend Charlie could run, he feels himself being picked up roughly in the arms of his soon -to- be permanent tormentor and with a vicious cast is now in the middle of the river well over his head. “That will teach you how to swim boy”.

Robbie has little time to think or do anything. He starts to sink and he gulps for air. His face shows only terror but his mind says very distinctly to him, “you are going to die”. As he sinks lower and is pulled away by the current, he is very sure of this and wants to be to be in the arms of his mother, the one person he knows really loves him.

Robbie begins to slowly sink deeper as his body eases itself into acceptance so that he is hardly moving at all now.  He still is fascinated as he sees things with his open eyes that are new to him and even spark a sense of wonder.  With an unexpected jerk on his left arm, Robbie sees the face of one of his older brothers, Adam, there to save him. All of his older brothers had seen what had happened and Adam was the one who got to him first.  All of them were familiar with the dark beast who quite characteristically just turned his back and walked away, not doing anything. They knew him as their father, a man so self-absorbed that he couldn’t see the goodness around him. This memory and many similar others would emotionally haunt Robbie throughout his life – until it didn’t.

To an outsider looking in, Jeanette’s early childhood looked rather ideal and in many respects it was.  That was the surface view; but lurking beneath were substantial anxieties and related events that influenced her life well into adulthood. Jeanette spent a lot of her time outdoors but also enjoyed being with herself, imagining and creating thoughts and understandings, even creating plays that she and her friends could perform and exploring various unknown places in the woods next to her house. Jeanette usually did this alone conquering fears she may have had as part of her adventure. She could only remember being in the nice house she lived in with her mother, father, older brother Josh and the remarkable grandmother, she referred to as Gram.

Not a soul was aware, not even her parents, of the vivid thoughts and anxieties that coursed through her brain and influenced her daily life. Things were not as carefree as it seemed. Other family members saw her as being somewhat on the anxious side.  They didn’t know what happened to her every day when she was outside playing with her friends and neighbors.  Jeanette kept everything to herself – the beginnings of the very independent person she was to become.

There was a concrete factory close to her suburban home. Occasionally, white concrete trucks would go through her neighborhood either to or from their company base.  Whenever this occurred, Jeanette felt an overwhelming need to hide from this truck so it couldn’t see her. She became very quick in finding her hiding place each time this happened. Sometimes it was the big hill in her friend Pat’s front yard that would hide her from view.  Running and hiding behind a house was another go-to spot. Jeanette had no idea why she felt compelled to do this but certainly didn’t want to find out what would happen to her if she was seen by the truck.  It was also very important for her to hide the fact that she did this for many years from her friends and her parents. Why in the world did she do this?  She was too young to figure this out on her own. But she was embarrassed by it.

Jeanette also had recurring dreams about being captured by the moon and a rather sinister character dressed all in black with a crooked hat and a crooked smile that was acting on Earth at the moon’s command.  These dreams travelled to everyday life as Jeanette was convinced that if the moon caught her outside after darkness, it would suck her into the moon itself and she would be gone forever.  As a child she would always be vigilant about being home before dark.  At night when sleeping in the bunkbed she shared with her brother Josh, she would have to make sure she could not be seen by the moon through the adjacent window, often having to put a towel or covering over the window to keep this from happening. This went on for many years with Jeanette never whispering her reality to anyone.

Family life was good. She adored her Dad, admired her Mom and loved her older brother.  Josh was often her protector.  On one occasion her friend Pat had stolen her doll, taken it home and insisted that it was hers.  Jeanette had a love/hate relationship with Pat, often feeling in competition with her and not feeling she measured up but wanting to. Her brother didn’t hesitate.  He marched down to Pat’s house, demanded that she give him the doll back, followed her back up to her room, retrieved the doll and brought it back graciously to his sister with a hug. Josh made her feel safe. He stood up for her.

Jeanette was always a very responsible little girl.  She liked to be given responsibility and always wanted to fulfill expectations and perform well.  At about age 8, she established a clinic for little pets and animals in Pat’s basement and all the neighborhood kids would bring their animals to her clinic so she could make them well. There were some dogs and cats, but mainly little bugs, caterpillars, fish, salamanders, turtles, an occasional bird, rabbits and whatever young children felt needed to be healed.  Jeanette loved this, afterall her favorite TV show was Marcus Welby, M.D. who had his office right in his home.  That, or something like it was what she wanted to be.

On one occasion, at about age 9, Jeanette was given the job of reporting to the parents of two little girls that they were stuck at school after a snowstorm made any more buses unable to deliver them home. She took this responsibility very seriously.  On the way home on her schoolbus, she saw another school bus pass by her window heading down the hill she had just come up.  Within seconds she heard a loud crash, got off her bus and looked down the hill to see a major commotion.  She knew that children had just gotten off her bus and the other bus would have reached them about the same time she heard the crash.  For a second, Jeanette didn’t know what to do but ran down the hill to discover one of the children had been hit by the other schoolbus.  The sight she saw was so disturbing. The little girl in a red coat was laying on the snow-covered ground with a helmet under her head that was rapidly filling with red blood. A telephone pole repair man has witnessed the accident and it was his helmet.

Jeanette thought, “what should I do?”  She wanted her Mom but remembered her mission and rushed back up the hill to the house of the stranded little girls still at school. There were tall concrete steps going down a hill to the front door of this house. She started down but quickly slipped and fell down those concrete steps. But she made it to the door, informed the Mom and then started the walk up to her own house. Meanwhile, her Mom who at that time worked for the police department, had learned of the bus accident and was frantically trying to get there because she was afraid it was Jeanette.

Yes, family life was good then. At least on the surface.  There was a lot going on in Jeanette’s brain and mind. Somehow, the color red was involved.

Family life was good.  Until it wasn’t.

Whenever souls went to Earth to learn and evolve, they were assigned two sages to watch over them and see how experiences were affecting them and molding them to be who they were meant to be.  It was often not an easy road so it was important for them to have a constant view and understanding of how the evolution was progressing.

The two sages assigned to Robbie and Jeanette were Sage Ellie and Sage Franklin.  Just like the souls in physical form they were watching, sages have their own personalities.  Ellie is quite vivacious and rather outspoken.  She is very attentive and often funny with a definite slant to the sarcastic side. Others described Franklin as “measured”, one who would consider his words, and quite wise.  He did have a sense of humor but subdued in nature and was very thoughtful and slightly “snarky” as described by his fellow sages.

Both sages had one quality that was essential for all sages.  They must be highly empathetic.

Franklin: You know it is amazing how that one event for Robbie in his little 5-year-old brain could have such an impact on him and his personality.

Ellie: I was so mad at that father.  I wanted to throw him into the river! And more!

Franklin: Ellie, you know that is not our purpose here. We are to watch over them and see how they learn and evolve into who they are meant to be. Only when we see something extremely wrong in their journey do we alert the Boss.

Ellie: But what a horrid thing to do to a child!  That father is a fake.  He appears totally different to others in the community. He acts charming and is successful in his business.  The way he treats his family – his wife and all those many children. Where is his heart?

Franklin: Jeanette has some big underlying child issues too but of a different nature. She is such an independent, imaginative and introspective child but can you imagine the years of living with that fear that she had no idea where it came from.  Sometimes not knowing is worse than knowing.

Ellie: And she won’t know until she is in her 40’s where that all came from.  It definitely will shape her life – a lot.  I see that she is very responsible and takes that very seriously – sort of the opposite of carefree.

Franklin: Yes, I agree and that will be a major contributor to her soul evolution.  Besides responsibility, she had such a high level of empathy for a little one. Ellie:  Both of them need some very strong figures in their lives to help them not get off track – for both of them that could easily happen.  Their life events, though carefully designed for maximum growth, will be quite hard but also quite similar in nature. We will have fun watching this – and I imagine we will learn a thing or two from them as well.
